TROPICAL DEPRESSION (TD) FALCON and its TROUGH will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with scattered to widespread light to moderate to at times heavy/extreme rain showers and thunderstorms across THE WHOLE OF LUZON including BATANES AND BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, AND SCARBOROUGH (PANATAG) SHOAL.
Meanwhile, LPA 98W has been upgraded to TD FALCON as it moves closer to Extreme Northern Luzon. At 1:00 PM (0500 GMT) today, its center was located about 359 km ESE of Santa Ana, Cagayan (17.0°N 125.1°E), with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph, gusting up to 75 kph. It was moving WSW @ 26 kph towards Extreme Northern Luzon.
Enhanced SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) will continue to bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with scattered to occasional light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across MIMAROPA; VISAYAS; WESTERN, NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN MINDANAO; SULU ARCHIPELAGO; AND KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG). Winds of fresh breeze to gale-force winds of 35 to 65 km/hr will be expected along these areas, making the seas moderate to very rough (2.0 to 7.5 meters) and dangerous to all types of sea vessels.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with possible isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
