First batch of INHS Completers awarded Latin Honors; teachers of Imus NHS graduated from Graduate Studies

In celebration of the National Teachers’ Month with the theme ‘Gurong Pilipino, Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino’, Imus National High School recognizes teachers who graduated from their graduate studies. The INHS faculty member who graduated are as follows: Carmille Jam S. Lim (Science Dept.) - Master of Arts in Teaching General Science; Mike B. Arguelles (Mathematics Dept.) and Precylyn B. Arguelles (Mathematics Dept ) - Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics who graduated at Technological University of the Philippines. Monneth D. Delantar (AP Dept) - Master of Arts in Education Major in Social Science at Western Colleges, Inc.; Katherine D. Young (English Dept.) - Doctor of Philosophy in Education Major in Educational Management at Philippine Women's University.

 

Moreover, the first batch of INHS completers who graduated with Latin Honors and other special awards from their respective college/ university were also recognized. In the record, there are more than 45 alumni from Batch 2015-2016 who received exemplary awards during their graduation ceremony. One of those is Raymond Zigmund S. Urap who graduated as Magna Cum Laude with the degree of BA Philosohpy at University of the Philippines-Los Baños. Urap is also a recipient of the following: Salutorian of AB Philosophy, UP President's Medal, College of Arts and Sciences Medal of Merit for Academic Excellence and Department of Humanities Medal of Merit for Academic Excellence. Urap is a former 10-Einstein student under the advisory class of Ms. Leilani Lulu-Cabrera who excels in Editorial Cartooning during his high school days.

 

This worthy endeavor aims to recognize the hardships of previous students of INHS and also the continuous professional development of its teachers.
