The second day of Division Cyber Expo 2019 at Leighton Hall, Lancaster New City, Alapan II – A, Imus City was started with a Financial Literacy talk entitled Project: Per@parasyon led by Ms. Marissa Tagado, Business Head of Region IV – A of City Savings Bank. She stresses that as an educator we should start investing and start to plan for future at the young age.
Cypher Learning Company – NEO LMS Sales Director Leandro Anonuevo continued the session as he introduced the design and benefits of the NEO LMS platform for schools, universities and colleges. A platform that helps to digitally transforms us, people. Refreshingly new way to teach and learn for the students, teachers, administrators, parents and community.
Learning ICT, whether it’s simple or advanced, online or offline, was made possible by Macro Logic Learning Solutions Business Development Officer Delfin Agub to the participants. By equipping the educators into Microsoft Technologies such as Server, Desktop, Applications, Database, Developer, Microsoft Office and etc. in providing trainings and Certifications.
Eufer Pasion, Senior Trainor of LINE Learning and Development Solutions, along with Frederick Godinez, Lanie Barrera and other members of the faculty from De La Salle University – Dasmarinas, led the discussion about Office 365 applications’ specifications and how to utilize it in our admin and classroom work. They stress, different applications of Office 365 that most of the participants didn’t use. Mostly the One Note that can be use as a digital notebook of the learners and educators in every aspect and maximizing the features through Optical Character Recognition that which may translate photos into text. Furthermore, they also discussed the Sway application that utilizes lessons, storytelling, presentations and introductions; One Drive, that will serve as cloud storage of the educators with unlimited storage; Team Drive and etc.. On the other hand, speakers encourage the participants to earned Microsoft Certifications under the Microsoft Educator Community by simply logging in to the website and access free courses, resources, webinars, and quick tip videos.
On the other hand, the Schools Division Office also motivates the participants to have an active participation in the seminar through Icebreaker headed by Dr. Leticia Alva Rogacion, EPS of English to be followed by the announcement of the Top 5 attendees who answers the evaluation in a quick and comprehensive way wherein Mr. Allan C. Ometer Jr. from INHS Main as he awarded as one of the Top 5.
