The DepEd Imus City Eagle Riders (DICER) journeyed its way to raise awareness of the readiness of the schools in the division of Imus city for the up and coming school year 2020-2021 through “trip for Education- a joint riding activity on September 26 in Imus City, Cavite.
An approximate total of 100 riders participated in advocacy ride to various schools in the city serving over 7000 learners, which started as early as 6 a.m. for the riders of the DepEd Imus City, Jade Residences Riders Community (JRRC), Watugs Cavite Motorcycle Club and United Kabalikat Civicom, led by club presidents Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr. ; Rico A. Esteban; Butz Kristian Nuesca Kuizon and traversed the streets of NIA Road, Poblacion, Palico, Buhay na Tubig, Pasong Buaya, Daang Hari, Malagasang, and Bayan Luma.
This activity was made possible in coordination with The City Mayor Imus City Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres and City of Imus PNP Chief Lt. Col. Gerald Sy Dee through the initiative of INHS Principal and DICER founding Chairman, Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr.
The previous months have been busy for the Schools Division of Imus City as they were filled with preparations for the opening of classes during the pandemic situation while the DICER organized rides to help teachers and underprivileged learners in the different parts of Imus City as the organization takes pride in its initiative to spearhead charity and advocacy rides for Education.
It was a short but a special kind of adventure and advocacy ride for the riders as they spread the positive vibe of the readiness for continuity of education for Batang Imuseño all over the City through stop overs in various schools in the vicinity.
The ride was capped with a short affirmation and confirmation of riders’ dedication and commitment to support the continuity of Education in the new Normal at Imus Pilot Elementary School grounds at 7:30 am.
Through the DICER activities and program, it has contributed valuable services as learning materials transporters for upcoming school year.
